Aniimo coming Q3 2026, third beta starting soon
Beta includes a new region, Aniimo creatures, and the ability to exchange Aniimo with other players.

While Aniimo still doesn’t have a solid release date, we now know it’s coming out sometime in Q3 2026 thanks to an announcement at the Future Games Show Summer 2026 showcase. Plus, there’s a new trailer, and a third closed beta on the way this Summer that you can already sign-up for on Aniimo’s official website.
You can also pre-register for Aniimo on the official site to help unlock rewards upon the game’s official release, like currency and an outfit. You know, the usual gacha stuff.
The legally distinct Pokemon-meets-gacha is a free-to-play open-world “creature catching action RPG” developed and published by Pawprint Studio, a label established by FunPlus. It’s set to release on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, Mobile, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, but the upcoming beta is for PC and Mobile only. And as a reminder for those not used to gacha betas: your progress will be wiped at the end of the beta. You’ll have to start all over again when the game releases.
Here’s the official press release detailing everything new coming to Aniimo’s third beta:
New Aniimo
- New Aniimo introduced include Bubbeep, Popapus, Mophling, and Sausite.
New Aniimo forms
- Pathfinders can encounter new Aniimo forms including Budsquire, Thornblade, and more.
New features in Astra

Home-building

Player-Versus-Player and Cooperative gameplay
- Diamond Egg Heist (Player-Versus-Player)

- Pathfinders can team up and take on the new boss challenges that await them: Bubbask and Coraliz.
Aniimo exchange
- Pathfinders now have the ability to exchange Aniimo with each other.
