Genshin Impact reveals Tsaritsa design in Snezhnaya character trailer

It’s been a long time coming, but after only hearing about the Tsaritsa—Snezhnaya’s Cryo Archon—since Genshin Impact‘s launch nearly six years ago, we finally know what she looks like thanks to Snezhnaya’s character reveal trailer.

The Tsaritsa (Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya) was kept right to the end, of course, where she’s seen confronting Ronova, one of the Four Shades of the Heavenly Principles, and playing a game of chess with Rhinedottir, another of the Four Shades and member of the Hexenzirkel, amongst her other titles.

The Tsaritsa can also be seen with what looks like her young son, so there’s a lot to unpack just about her in this one trailer alone. And that’s not even including all the political intrigue and story teases seen throughout, which includes an assassination attempt resembling Abraham Lincoln’s. Genshin’s really going all in on this whole gunplay shtick, huh?

The first batch of Snezhnayan playable characters were also revealed in the trailer, and it looks like there will be at least four playable male characters this time, not counting Pantalone. A rarity for a new region these days.

Here’s a gallery of all the new “Character Introductions” posted on Genshin Impact’s social media. Just keep in mind that not all of these characters might be playable, and that some have already released, or will be releasing before Snezhnaya (Tartaglia, Arlecchino, Sandrone etc.)
