Aniimo third beta starts July 9, but only for Mobile and PC

Sign-ups end July 5.

Aniimo’s third beta begins July 9, and you have until July 5 to sign-up for the chance to take part via the game’s official website. Although Aniimo is set to release for Mobile, PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, this beta is only available on Mobile and PC.

The beta date comes nearly three weeks after Aniimo’s release window of Q3 2026 was revealed at the Future Games Show Summer 2026 showcase, along with a brand new trailer for the cute creature-catcher gacha.

Although Q3 is still the last we’ve heard about Aniimo’s release date, the latest beta survey might be hinting at a September launch. It’s pretty standard to ask potential testers what types of genres they play (and in Aniimo’s case bluntly enquire as to what Pokemon games you’ve played before). But near the end of Aniimo’s survey, it asks which of these games you’re looking forward to the most: Control Resonant, Wolverine, Dune: Awakening, Star Wars Galactic Racer, and Grand Theft Auto 6.

All these titles release at the end of September or beginning of October except for GTA 6, which launches in November. It sounds to me like the survey is trying to spot any potential clashes the game’s core audience might have with big games releasing around the end of September, but this is just my guesswork. We’ll have to wait for official confirmation from developer Pawprint Studio to see if I went too tin foil hat with the survey or not.

New Aniimo

New Aniimo introduced include Bubbeep, Popapus, Mophling, and Sausite.

New Aniimo forms

Pathfinders can encounter new Aniimo forms including Budsquire, Thornblade, and more.

New features in Astra

Pathfinders can now access certain stores to purchase new accessories.
New decorative buildings have been implemented including a blind box and clothing store.

Home-building

The Homeland, which can be accessed via players’ RV moving base, will now feature more customization options and Aniimo-themed decorations.

New region

A new water themed region, the Island of Peace, will be accessible for the first time.

Player-Versus-Player and Cooperative gameplay

Diamond Egg Heist (Player-Versus-Player)
- Up to six teams of three Pathfinders compete to be the first to twine with the diamond egg. Once a player twines with the egg, cooperation will be key to victory as the other team members protect and safely escort the egg to safety.
Pathfinders can team up and take on the new boss challenges that await them: Bubbask and Coraliz.

Aniimo exchange

Pathfinders now have the ability to exchange Aniimo with each other.

And as a reminder for those not used to gacha betas: your progress will be wiped at the end of the beta. You’ll have to start all over again when the game actually releases.
